About Dr Samantha Hall
A built environment EXPERT consulting on healthy buildings, human centred design and sustainability.
I started my career out in human resources before shifting to environmental science that took me into the fascinating world of sustainable cities and buildings. I completed a PhD and postdoctorate focused on healthy, green commercial buildings.
We spend 90% of our days inside buildings, but are these spaces healthy for us? Are they really designed with our needs in mind?
I love helping clients to figure out how they can create better spaces for their people. I work with a range of organisations finding ways they can improve their campuses, schools, offices and workplaces. Environmental sustainability is so important to me. Our buildings contribute to climate change, and there are simple ways we can lower the carbon footprint whilst creating a vibrant environment for people.
I am also involved in the local startup and innovation space, and an advocate for women in STEM having joined 78 other women for the first Homeward Bound leadership program in Antarctica in 2016.
